Right Networks was front and center at this year’s National Association of Tax Professional’s National Conference and Exposition (NATP) held in Chicago, IL July 20-25, 2019. This year’s program attracted close to 1,000 attendees who attended over 50 sessions, including Right Networks presentation: 2019 Techs, Trends, and Disrupters delivered by our Director of Firm Technology Strategy-Roman Kepczyk. Security was a top concern and Roman explained how moving traditional “firm managed” networks to the cloud helped firms be more secure as well as be provided more timely maintenance and support as well as reliable remote access. The session also discussed how taking a “lean” approach to the firm’s own tax and accounting workflows actually help firms be more consultative to clients and provided resources to help accountants on their path towards adopting advisory services. Roman provided attendees to a series of articles outlining “lean” best practices as well as security resources which can be found with Rightworks Blog.
Roman stated: “Technology is evolving at an ever-increasing pace and we are making a concerted effort to pass useful, actionable information onto our clients to help them understand these trends and transform their practices.”
