When John Farrer and his business partner were working on cloud technologies in 2002, they were approached by a CPA firm that needed to be cloud enabled. After getting their first customer’s data and Quickbooks Desktop virtualized, it became clear that they had a uniquely successful solution that could help other CPA firms evolve and connect to their clients. They developed HyperRight™, which allowed Quickbooks Desktop to be multi-tenant, secure, and available. Within the first year Right Networks was serving 14 CPA firms and Accounting Professionals.

Under John’s leadership, Right Networks has become a trusted partner to CPA firms, Accounting Professionals, and small businesses, experiencing an average 42% growth over the last three years.

Before co-founding Right Networks in 2002, John designed and implemented multi-site server infrastructures for Fortune 100 corporations, including Bell Atlantic and NYNEX Yellow Pages, and consulted for startups on infrastructure design for data centers and voice recognition solutions.

Joel is responsible for day-to-day operations and scaling the business to connect even more CPA firms, Accounting Professionals, and small businesses to the cloud. He has deep knowledge in corporate strategy and team building.

Prior to Right Networks, Joel was SVP of Emerging Businesses at Constant Contact (acquired by Endurance International Group) where he grew the SinglePlatform unit from $2M to $20M over four years. As CEO at NMS Communications, Joel led the transformation of a business unit into the stand-alone public company, LiveWire Mobile.

Michael Dionne, CPA

Mike’s responsibilities include financial and risk management operations including financial strategies, metrics, control systems and financial reporting. He actively leads teams to promote growth, enhance operational efficiencies and engage in long-term strategic planning.

Prior to joining Right Networks, Mike spent over 20 years in public accounting and co-founded a CPA practice serving small businesses and high net worth individuals. He is a member of the NH Society of CPAs and the AICPA.

Will’s focus is on maintaining and growing Right Networks’ position as the leading provider of cloud-based collaboration offerings for CPA firms, Accounting Professionals, and small businesses. He has a proven track record for driving revenue and negotiating large scale, solution-led deals.

Will has served in senior leadership roles at tech companies including Senet, Inc., Constant Contact (acquired by Endurance International Group), Aepona (acquired by Intel Corporation) and LiveWire Mobile (acquired by OnMobile Live).

Jim Walsh

Chief Information Officer

Jim is responsible for guiding the technology strategy for the management and expansion of Right Networks’ infrastructure as well as leading and scaling the corporate information technology and security functions. He is a technology industry veteran and has extensive experience in helping develop teams, workflow and technology operations for mid-stage and later-stage SaaS companies.

Before joining Right Networks, Jim was Vice President and CIO at Virtustream. Prior to Virtustream, he spent seven years at Constant Contact (acquired by Endurance International Group) helping develop and scale the company’s enterprise systems and technology as the company grew from $80MM to $370MM in revenue. Jim has also held senior technology management executive positions at Peoplefluent, Saba Software, and Concentra.
