Firm Goes Remote and Leaves Office Permanently

The Company

For more than 30 years, the office of Harry K. Jeung, CPA, has provided accounting, tax preparation and bookkeeping services to clients in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Challenge

Months after the COVID-19 pandemic forced employees to work at home in March 2020, the firm faced a choice. In January 2021, the firm’s lease on its Burlingame office was due to expire. Jay Park, who manages operations for the firm, said the company decided not to renew the lease and instead told all eight of the firm’s employees to work from home permanently.
